Gila River has three casinos in the Phoenix area, each convenient to parts to the Valley of the Sun including west, east and south portions of the metro area. Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino is the largest casino in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area south of Phoenix near Chandler and Ahwatukee.  Of all the casino hotels in metro Phoenix, Wild Horse Pass feels the most like Las Vegas, right down to the trendy nightclub, Airia, and the showroom that attracts national acts. Lone Butte Casino is located in just south of the 202 freeway in Chandler, AZ. It is just southeast of Phoenix. You can merge with the 202 from Interstate 10 going southeast. Lone Butte is the only Gila River Casino that does not have live action poker or hotel accommodations. Vee Quiva Hotel and Casino is located in the southwest section of the Phoenix area in Laveen, AZ. This $135 million property opened in 2013, replacing a casino built in 1994. The new venue has an open and airy gambling floor.
