Surrounded by Everything, including World-famous Shopping and Art Galleries, lively bars and delicious restaurants at all price points…Old Town has something for everyone – Come experience it for yourself at our home in the sun!

The Maya is a mature adult community, not geared towards families or children.

This gorgeous condo is located at “The Maya”, which is a very nice community located off Miller and Camelback Roads. As a Maya guest, you have access to the glorious resort-style pool (deepest end over 8 feet!), oversized hot tub, Clubhouse with work-out facility (cardio and weight rooms), a sauna, and recreation room with a pool table. There are bar-b-ques and a ping-pong table by the pool, as well. All these amenities are available year-round for your enjoyment.

You are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation staying at this lovely unit. The newly-renovated four-piece bathroom is furnished with soft towels.

Living/Dining Area:

The living room is tastefully decorated and has a 50-inch LED smart TV, Cox cable, and high-speed Wi-Fi. There is a sofa that pulls out into a comfy double bed, as well as a luxurious leather side chair. Sheets, blankets and pillows for the pull-out are found in the hall closet.

The dining table is bar height and set up for four people.

Kitchen:

The kitchen is well-appointed with dishes and cutlery, and all the standard small appliances.

Bedroom:

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with an over-sized walk-in closet, plenty of dresser space and a 32″ flat screen LED TV. You will feel very comfortable, and may just not want to get out of bed.

Laundry:

There are common laundry rooms about a 30-second walk away on the second floor; there are additional laundry rooms on the third and fourth floors accessible by elevator if the second-floor laundry is in use. MacGray recently installed new machines, including a high-efficiency front-loader. Two laundry tabs are provided for your convenience. You will find these in the hallway closet, together with other cleaning supplies. A wash is $1.25 and the dryer is 75 cents. You also now have the option of using quarters or swiping your debit or credit card.

Maya Common Areas:

In the pool common area, you have the use of bar-b-ques, a ping-pong table, as well as the pool and spa of course. We include plastic glasses for use when outside the condo-proper. Glass is absolutely prohibited in the common areas and we ask that you respect this policy. Your common key (or proximity pass) also gives you access to the clubhouse (open from 5 am to 11 pm), where you will find the fitness rooms (cardio on the main floor, weights upstairs), sauna and a pool table upstairs. If you are at the pool and need to use the washrooms, they are also found in the clubhouse.

Area Information:

You will find Sprouts Food Market within an easy minute’s walk, just across Miller Avenue; as well, there is a Bread Basket bakery, several restaurants and a sports bar in that same plaza. There is a Fry’s Grocery on Miller at Indian Road, about a half mile south on Miller. Turn left out of the driveway. And there’s a CVS Pharmacy across from Fry’s. There is a Fry’s discount card on the “key ring” for the condo. If you don’t have your own, you want to take this with you because you will enjoy substantial discounts on some items when shopping.

Cab rides are very inexpensive if you don’t have a car and don’t want to walk, and the golf-cart shuttles are always available for the trip home. The Miller Road Trolley stops mere steps from our driveway and their phone number and schedule is in an information binder provided in the unit. The Maya Condominium is very close to the Entertainment and Fashion Districts. It is a wonderful community with many activities going on where you will make friends, or you can keep to yourself as you wish.

There are many golf courses nearby, car races, spring training, hiking, and walking trails. And there’s shopping, lots and lots of shopping to do with Fashion Square so close by.

Please Note:

This unit will accommodate four, but it is really intended for two people. Nobody likes sleeping on a pull-out couch for more than one night; so, we recommend that this unit only be booked for a couple.

Our property manager, Todd Navin, will coordinate everything from the initial meet-and-greet to addressing any questions or issues you may have during your stay. If you require transportation arranged to/from the airport, Todd can take care of that as well – though Uber and Lyft are now very economical options – approximately $20 one way.

Our standard check-out time is 11 am. This allows staff an opportunity to thoroughly clean the unit before the next visitor, particularly if someone is arriving later the same day or the next day. If possible, we will accommodate early check-in/late check-out at a rate of $25US per three hours or part thereof. This must be pre-arranged, preferably at the time of your initial booking.

We have tried to give you all the information that I can think of, but if there’s anything else that you need to know, please don’t hesitate to ask. We hope to see you soon.
