For almost 20 years, David has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. With extensive experience throughout major shifts in the markets, David has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve. David began his financial services career with Edward Jones Investments, where he worked for nearly ten years running a branch office in Tempe, Arizona. In 2008 he started an independent practice, Basinger Investment Group, LLC to better represent his clients’ interests, and affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network.

David graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and then went on to Western International University later earning his CFP^® certification by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination, and meeting stringent experience requirements. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, David helps manage investments for individuals, trusts, and businesses with a comprehensive approach to building wealth and reducing risk.

Away from the office

David has been married for 27 years and has two grown sons. He is from the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and enjoys backpacking in the great outdoors. He has summited many of the country’s highest peaks including Mt. Rainier, Mt. Whitney, Half Dome, Mt. Humphreys and Mt. Baldy. He also plays golf and basketball and enjoys snowboarding in the winter.

Background and credentials

Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and holds series 7 and 66 securities registrations as well as an Arizona Insurance License.

After 14 years in corporate finance as the Executive Vice President for an international manufacturing company, Jennifer decided to help start and run Basinger Investment Group, LLC.

Jennifer strives to help each one of our clients plan for retirement in a way that best meets their financial needs.  She uses her 24 years of financial experience to develop and manage customized retirement income plans around their long-term goals and risk tolerance.

Away from the office

Jennifer is very active in her local community and has held various leadership positions, on top of volunteering countless hours with the Boy Scouts of America, Kyrene PTO, YMCA, and East Valley Boys Service Club. Jennifer is currently serving a second term on the Board of Directors for Valley Christian High School. She loves spending time with her two sons, hiking, yoga, skiing and ballroom dancing.
