Carlson Creek Vineyard is a family-owned vineyard and winery located in the heart of Cochise County in Southeastern Arizona, with tasting rooms located in Scottsdale and Willcox, Arizona. What began in 2008 as a deep-seated dream to create a multi-generational business and to produce quality wines, has since blossomed into one of the largest vineyards in Arizona.
Situated at 4200 feet above sea level, the 320-acre vineyard takes advantage of the warm Arizona sun and the crisp, cool evenings to create an ideal environment for growing grapes. The elevation and climate of Carlson Creek Vineyards resembles environments found in Argentina and Chile, as well as the Rhône Valley in southern France. This creates a unique terroir which allows Carlson Creek to focus on making Rhône-style varietals with a South American flair.
Varietals produced include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Syrah, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Malbec, Mourvèdre and Malvasia Bianca.
