IN THE WORLD OF PIZZA…Grimaldi’s is an institution.

With over 100 years of coal fired brick-oven pizza-making traditions, we continue to ensure that future generations are able to experience our distinctive and truly authentic pizza.

Why coal-fired brick ovens? The tantalizing aroma of pizza and calzones baked to perfection in our signature coal burning oven offers a unique flavor and a crisp crust that is just not possible from gas, convection, or wood burning ovens.

Our fresh ingredients, handmade mozzarella, ‘secret recipe’ dough and pizza sauce make us the most award-winning pizzeria in the United States.

It is our passion for pizza that has made us a “must have” for pizza lovers and celebrities alike, including Frank Sinatra and former NYC Mayor, Rudy Giuliani.

Welcome to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, we are honored to have you as our guest!

  1. Dear Old Scottsdale Manager,
I feel compelled to let you know the severe DECLINE in customer service @ this location. My family has enjoyed dining here and have ordered take out for years.
I have had several bad experiences here of late, and have no plans to return. MOD pizza will now replace Grimaldis as our pizza place.

On March 9th, I tried to call in an order to go for my son’s birthday party with a group of hungry boys… I was placed on hold for over 5 minutes. I gave up and called again and explained I had been waiting for help to be told ” I will walk over and make sure the “To Go” people answer the phone…, 5 minutes later still no help. I gave up and took my group to MOD pizza instead…Then today, I tried to place an online order to avoid the same experience as before and when I received my confirmation I realized I accidentally ordered 1 small salad instead of a large. I called the store and explained the mistake and asked the gentleman who answered the phone today around 10:30 and he said he would take care of it. When I arrived around 12:15, my order still had the small salad on there. I explained to the lady @ the bar (who was quit rude) and asked who I talked to. I said it was a man and I don’t make a habit to document such interactions. I trust that if someone says they will take care of it, that they will. She was clearly annoyed and stated BTW your pizza isn’t ready either despite the on-line order for 12:00 pick up. She then said that I could not use my son’s free pizza coupon for “To Go” and said I could use at a later date that expires tomorrow. I know I have used these both in the restaurant and for “To Go” in the past. I should be able to use however I want! I made a tourist very happy by giving them my sons birthday coupon, as they were “dining in”. So sad to see that this location has such poor Customer service and whoever is manning the phone lines need to fired because they suck!
